Sounds like Kings players have been told Hayes will be joining the team again.

 

Bad trade. Jordan will be a valuable asset for a potential Allstar. I value Chuck but allstar he is not.

 

Did Chuck say he wanted to be back in Houston after the medical checkup?

 

Sacramento, pay Chuck or other players will see how you treat your players, then in the future NO ONE will want to sign with Sac.

Chuck has earned his pay day.

 

He'd probably love to be in Houston, but we don't have the money. Seems like the same teams that were chasing him before still want him, but he still wants to be in Sac.

Wish the Rockets would have cleared some of the trash (Flynn and Thabeet) to make room for him...

Dalembert's situation dragged out a tad longer....Could well played out like the latter.

Their numbers are identical, however Sam got a reputation, a better one on the court, a worse one inside the locker room.

I don't buy that Dalembert's problem is only one of lockerroom reputation. Similar numbers don't mean equality. Dalembert has about one-tenth the IQ of Chuck on both ends of the court. The Kings/Rockets/Celts all realized that which is why Chuck was the first choice of all 3 teams.

The only advantage Dalembert has over Chuck is blocking shots in help defense and he can hit medium range jumpers. But with his inconsistent effort from game to game, you never know what he'll give.

Maybe playing for his last contract will light a fire under Dalembert.

One point is the NBA is not chess. You need the IQ with an athletic body.
Chuck lacks that so unfortunately they won't pay him the money a Tyson, or Samuel would normally get.

Couldn't wish for anything better after a scare like this.

 

Ever since I heard it was pericarditis, I was a lot more optimistic. The main point is that his heart problem was not congenital. Although some viral infections or other causes of pericarditis can have long term effects and even serious outcomes if not treated properly, my understanding is still that the majority of people have a full recovery.
