With all of the bodies that we have, I'd honestly like to see some type of deal go down. There's no way Dragic doesn't crack the active roster. His style of play and versatility compliment the back court so well that it would be ludicrous if he didn't see the floor. I believe with the situation we are in, some type of deal is imminent. Let's face it; with the amount of talent on this roster, the Rockets can't have their cake and eat it too.

Neither Patterson nor Hill are true centers. Thabeet is a true center. Even moreso than Dalembert as far as size goes. The one who i think may be cut are either Lin or Smith. My pick is Lin.

Glanced through....amazed no one's mentioned this.

This season, teams can have 13 active players instead of 12 (until Feb 6).

Edit - ah ha, someone wasn't asleep at the wheel. Rep to you, good man.

That's good to know but if there's no trades and everyone is healthy by Feb 6th one of them isn't gonna suit up.

We've got a good 6 weeks for them to play for the spot, then. Thabeet probably gets the edge, since you can always use an emergency 7 footer if your starter gets into foul trouble. Combo guards are rarely critical game changers.

xiki - the poll was clear: who's going to be active (13). The poll options wouldn't make sense for roster cuts - the guaranteed deals aren't going to be waived. Roster will get down to 15 by releasing the non-guaranteed guys.
