The 1.5 Million dollar buy out for year 2 is huge for our 2012 cap flexibility.

That Aspect of the deal makes it a win in my eyes. That way we can maximize our opportunities this year with out having a adverse effect on the future.

If only Sammy could drop that ass to get in shape.
Don't want to see him overweight.

He bolsters the team's biggest weakness (shotblocking and rebounding inside). Excellent moneyball pickup and I feel confident this team will make the playoffs this year.

If lottery picks mean championships, then let's get ready to celebrate our third. Check out the number of lottery picks on this roster.

Nice thing about this is that the Rockets dont necessarily "need" Dalembert, he is merely a luxury. Also his contract is amazing. Only Morey could have pulled that one off.

Hill should get the majority of the minutes if he stays consistent.

This team just all the sudden got one of the deepest front courts in the West. Funny how fast things can change in the NBA.

Just look at the Clippers. There is hope in ClutchCity.

Are you for real/ We dont need a 7 footer who can rebound, block and protect the paint? Since when has Jordan Hill been able to those things consistantly? 2 pre-season games as weak examples?

How are we one of the deepest front courts in the west? Scola, Pat, and SammyD isnt very deep. Hill and Thabeet dont really count.

I think Hill inconsistent as he was in the past, was a regular rotation player.
Thabeet on the other hand, I refrain any comments......

I think he means potentially could be, based off what people think Hill and Patterson could mature into this season.

Yes I am for real. Hill (when he's right) > Dalembert. I like Sammy D. as a space eating shot blocker, but he doesn't have the speed, athleticism, and offensive potential that Hill has when he's on his game as a NBA big.

Scola, Patterson = one of the best PF combos in the league. Nuff said.

Its just a nice menu of options for post players. You pick your entree, there is something for every occasion.

Yeah, I am curious to see in what kind of shape Mr. Dalembert is in. The Dalembert of years past should definitely help us irt to interior defense. Just hoping that he hasn't eaten too many donuts.

Was looking forward to Jordan Hill starting this year so we would be able to see how good he really is. Hopefully Dalembert and Hill at least split the minutes.
