I think there might be something to read between these lines:

    Kings void contract with Hayes...

    Kings rescind offer to Dalembert...

    Who's their center?

Safe deal for Rockets: Second year a team option (with $1.5 million buyout). Makes things more flexible next summer

So a center can play in Houston and be taller than 6'6? Who knew?

The team option in 2nd year calmed me down a bit. That said, I still don't like the signing and what it means for our lotto chances in 2012.

For 2 years, $7 mil first, 1.5 buyout option second year I am on the Dalembert bandwagon. Good signing that allows us to retain cap flexibility.

A 7 footer in shoes at a great bargain. I'm not letting the debbie downers get me down.

    Murray is the man.

Given that the Kings are a few million under the salary FLOOR, having trouble figuring out why they couldn't beat Houston's offer.

Yeah, that is pretty weird. I wonder why they didn't seem to want him.

If he chooses to sulk, it will be Sam's loss. He will get bought out and become a an aging free agent with diminished value. No chance he will make 7 million again if he becomes a free agent after under-performing.
