I've never been a fan of Kobe or Ben Rothlesburger (sp?) but I admire their will to play while injured. Kobe's gonna have a painful retirement.
lol, aww poor lakers, man f*** the lakers, wanna talk about city with sports injuries, we lead the nation
No, I want Kobe to lead them all the way to a first or 2nd round elimination. The last thing I want is Andre Drummond or Harrison Barnes joining that Laker team. 'Cause you know whether the Lakers have the 3rd worst record or the 14th worst record, they're moving up in the lottery.
If they go the tanking route, do you think they'd reconsider giving us Gasol? Lol, I can dream can't I?
Agreed, he is an a** but the type of guy who you want on your team bc he will bring it without quitting, I remember a few years ago lebron had a strained pinkie, not even torn or anything and he sat out 2-4 weeks
Kobe sits out the season, they trade us Gasol for Dragon , draft Drummond who ends up being a bust and the Lakers franchise sucks for 5 years. We can hope.
Kobe is probably gonna be his typical short-sighted self and force himself to play through the season. I admire his tenacity but with the amount of injuries he has sometimes I think he should take some f'ing time to rest. Lakers suck this year anyway cause Mike Brown is a joke.
Especially since he's been playin in the league for what, 16 years now? Not too mention all the years on Team USA. He'll get bogged down this year, I bet. Lots of back to back games, and the Lakers need him on the court to run the offense. Plus, no Odom, they're going to have to get his production from somewhere.
