Warning - This is my personal opinion, feel free to flame, this is just some expressions I wanted to share about TWill, and our young team being that he does read ClutchFans Dear Terrence and the rest of the Rocks- First I want to thank you. You seem to have a contagious attitude that will bring spirit and energy to this young squad both in practice and in games. I - as well as most of the ClutchFans members - am a Rockets fan and have been for Life. I really do appreciate your commitment to this team through this energy that you carry with you into this season, and I personally think it is refreshing to see this on a daily basis. I want to share with you my fan experience of you and this team. You - and this whole team - are young and very talented, no doubt. Because of this, people see a potential in you, as Im sure you see in yourself. We want to be excited about something. We have been through some pretty high tides and some pretty low ones in the past few years riding the waves of the T-Mac and Yao journey. I think that you and this team really can bring some excitement to this city and this teams fans. This could mean current success this season, or it could mean that we finally see the true potential of you guys. I believe it is up to each of you to, and I really believe the sky is the limit with the youth we have here. The last thing I wanted to share is a concept of self improvement. There is a general formula for how to get better in anything. It relies on constant critiques from peers, critics and from yourself. This general idea has been used by the best of the best - whether they knew it or not - to get where they are. The steps are simple: 1- Unconscious incompetence; you dont even know your bad 2- Conscious incompetence; Now you know what your bad at 3- Conscious competence; Now you know your good at this thing 4- Unconscious competence; Now you don't even think about being good at it Im not telling you this to probe at some weakness in your game. I think that all of us always have room for improvement everywhere. The reason I wanted to share this is because from what Im hearing, you are taking dramatic steps to improve some of the critiques people have had on your game and I wanted to tell you as a fan of the Rockets and a fan of this game, I appreciate this and I respect this. You have the makings of a natural born leader. People follow you. If you show them self sacrifice for the sake of improvement, they will emulate this. This would become an identity of your team. This is a simple letter. My hope here is that you can see some of the passion that so many fans have for you guys. We don't always speak as loudly as others, but we are here. Heres to looking forward to a great year - Trevor
You (u) don't know what you're talking about. If anything, this thread should be a comment box for POSITIVE reinforcement that T-Will can come read. I'd be the greatest man alive if everyone on the planet gave me their critiques
This^ I expected the "please read please read" threads to T-Will after finally getting a chance to completely read the blog.
I would be willing to bet that the vast majority of the Rockets players visit this website. In fact, I would bet most of them have user ids. I'm also certain Morey comes here too. Just because they don't announce it, doesn't mean they ain't checking in here. This is a premier basketball site and while there is a lot of rif raf on here, there are a lot of very educated basketball conversations that take place here.
It's a premier page but I don't think the majority joins tho. You can take a look without being a member. Players are asked not to mind the media, and why should they start taking interest in criticism from a fan page? Professionals do what they do. Morey on the other hand can do what he wants, I believe he was here but he is too busy to stick I assume. I agree about the educated basketball conversations but the ratio to just spamming is 5:1 post, I am sure it's higher than that
