Dude he barely played and it's a preseason game and he's in a team deep with PG.... No need to state your case twice on Lin one in the game thread and this, he's not gonna get a roster spot on this team...
No one is arguing that Lin is a savior, but he I wouldn't judge him based on 2 minutes of play. He did what I would expect from someone in his position, dominate the ball and show that he deserves a spot on the roster. He could bring in some energy off the bench as a third stringer in the league, but I doubt he would see any time on the Rockets behind Lowry/Dragic/Flynn.

Until the injuries hit us like last year. Weren't we all happy about Brooks and Lowry last year? That we didn't need a third stringer? If Lin doesn't make the roster for this team, I hope he more opportunities with other teams.
I don't get the excitement over Jeremy Lin. His upside is a back PG on a bad team or the 3rd PG on a good team. On his best day, he's Matt Maloney without the shortened 3 point line.
