We'll take that Turkey Glue Contract.. help yourself to a Knicks pick and a few assets while you are at it Otis. Scola, with the help of J-Rich, will all but lock up that 8th seed for you. Playoffs or bust Otis.
Why do the Rockets always have to be the team that gets involved to get the other team the star player while it gets the rejects? Talk about a loser mentality. We were supposed to be the team with the "assets". We should have been the one making all the big trades with our "attractive" pieces.
I guess those "assets" aren't as "attractive" to the rest of the NBA as Morey, the front office, and the majority of Rockets' fans thought they were.
Somebody? Anybody? Shouldn't the Rockets be the ones initiating blockbuster trades? I mean look at all these "attractive assets"
If LA does offer Gasol and Bynum for Dwight and Turk then we will have a chance at Gasol for less than the price of the initial trade. For ex: Gasol for Martin + Hill + NY pick
Our assets and our two best players, need play-off exposure to receive the necessary hype by the public. Despite what many say here, making the play-offs would help foster trades, by making our assets more visible and valuable. K-Marts value would explode if everyone saw how he can score. Currently, the average fan doesn't even know who he is, since we get little or no national airtime.
After watching the game last night, I want Gasol even more. He did extremely well guarding and getting physical with Blake Griffin.
He is destined to join Nets or Lakers next year anyways, just trade him already. Maybe Magic are waiting to see who caves between Lakers and Nets to dish out the most.
You kidding me. Guy is playing subpar and not earning his money. He is soft and can't take over a game. You pay him star money but he plays like your 3rd banana and sometimes not even that. He has been regressing tremendously or he is coasting which is worse.
This is why i compare the NBA to WWE. True competition is non existent just a bunch of divas whining and faking wanting to be in a sexy city to create other options entertainment wise to build up their bank accounts even more.
