[Official] I'm on the Clippers bandwagon

Rockets are my team. But I won't lie. This is a ridiculous lineup. I will be going to a few of their games this year, including the Rockets one.

I've been on the clips bandwagon since they drafted Deandre and Blake. For a couple years now I've been wrecking havoc in NBA 2k with this team. Also a fan of Gordon so I was sad to see him go but it was totally worth it to nab CP3. Billups makes the team even sweeter to watch. They're definitely my third favorite team behind the Rockets and Suns.

 

It's hard to knock the Rox for a 2nd round pick that didn't pan out...
Why don't you blame the other 25+ teams that passed on Jordan?

two ways of drafting beyond the lottery: 1) draft a rotational player - chances are low
2) raw/high upside-type player - chances are very low

He played percentages and lost. You cannot guess right on all the 2nd round picks. We've had plenty of late picks that have become solid contributors by following the first draft strategy (brooks, landry, chase etc).
It stinks that we didn't draft Jordan but "Murray" is not omnipotent.

 

Always love watching good basketball. CP3 + BG will be the best show in the NBA easily.

I agree. I really like the Clippers but I can't stand Sterling. Has to be up there in terms of worst NBA owners.

 

I'd rather have Paul on the Clips.
Paul to Bynum or Wuss Gasoft is not fun to watch

 

Is it because they're both LA teams that Los Angelites can so freely switch their allegiances from the Lakers to the Clippers?

 

They are gonna be entertaining, Watching them demolish teams with lobs and dunks is gonna be so fun
But I hope Rockets would completely **** on them when they play us...

 

Tired of all of these NBA groupy fans as opposed to real rockets fans. I'm not being ridiculous to think that a rockets forum should be mostly for the rockets organization and it's fans. NOT the heat, hawks, lakers, Detroit etc- nothing wrong with the NBA thread but all the newb posters are just posting ridiculously.

 

There's nothing wrong with also rooting for other teams as long as you have Rockets at No.1 priority. I'm a Rockets fan, but a NBA fan also, I'm pretty sure every NBA fan has teams they root other than their main team.

for me right now it's

1. Rockets
2. Blazers
3. Suns
4. Craptors
5. Clippers

 

I don't bandwagon. Rockets red and yellow all day.

I 'like' other teams, such as the Bobcats. I'll follow the Timberwolves more now that they have Adelman.

I'll enjoy watching the Clips, especially if they consistently clobber the Lakers. But I'm not going to all of a certain start wearing their jerseys and proclaiming that they will win it all.

We get enough of that with all the so called Heat and NYK fans who all of a sudden showed up last year.

 

For me it always has been the Rockets.
Maybe I should root for the Shanghai Sharks in the CBA, not so much because they suck.
Sometimes I watch other games but I go: meh, the best should win....don't care...
