Hey guys, so Im doing a project on the Rockets on their interaction within the community through social media (Facebook, email, Twitter). Since most of y'all are very vocal, opinionated and proud followers, would really like your opinions on how the Rockets could do a better job of communicating with the fans through their social media outlets and what more they could provide (videos, podcasts, interviews, behind the scenes, pictures, etc). Would really appreciate your opinions and how the Rockets relate in comparison to the other teams in Houston. Thank you so much.
I miss the times at the beginning of the season when players give those fake answers about how great it is to play in Houston. Fake loyalty. You got to love it.
But the Rockets don't run this site. I think the Texans do a really good job of having different videos on their website. They have not only highlights, but videos of their workouts, community service, player to player Q & A, press conferences, inside the game, and so on. I even found their nutrition/conditioning booklet for the team once. The Rockets just don't do enough. Clutch provides much more via video than the team does. I'm glad he does, but someone on the "outside" shouldn't be providing more inside info than the team itself.
True, this place sort of puts Rockets.com to shame, though Jason Freidman is a good writer and interviewer, maybe you should hit him up, he has always been really cordial. DD
I think you just answered the question. If the Rockets had done what Clutchfans does, they would be much better off.... but they're about 10 years too late now. My loyalties have been established!
this is probably a question more suited for clutch but do you all think there is anyway clutchfans and rockets.com can work together in some capacity
