If anything's clear as day, it's that Jacoby has to get cut asap and we need to select a first round fly route speedster in April.

    Kendall Wright, anyone?

It feels like the Raiders loss all over again. This was a team that I expected the Texans to be able to control. Offensive line got beat in the first half.

Most disappointing loss of the season; coming off one the franchise's best wins ever, Texans fans were ready to celebrate. Instead they were handed a steaming turd of a game. Really, really a shame. What a let down, all around.

I was actually worried about this game a long time ago, even when Schaub was healthy. I didn't think our offense would lay such an egg but I was worried about the defense in this one.

Our defense had not faced any kind of mobile threat up until this point, so that effectiviely hindered our ability to rush the passer. We were running some contain on certain downs if I recognized it correctly. Cam is just a threat that we weren't ready for after playing average to bad pocket passers all season. This was one that the offense was going to have to win and they let the team down with turnovers.

Despite it possibly costing the Texans a 1st round bye, I dont think the loss is as bad as it seems. They needed a wake up call, get grounded before trying to make a playoff push (instead of a one and done). This team appears to feed on adversity, and I think they can build from it.

Well TJ is still a rookie... That went to UNC.

It's amazing the Panthers won with all those penalties on the road.

The offense is not a top 10 offense. However it is good enough when AJ is healthy.

Turk averaged less than 30 yards a kick for the game; Carolina's punter averaged over 50 yards a kick. Kicking makes a difference. If Racker had made the missed FG and TJ hit the pass to JJ in the zone the Texans could have won the game with one more TD. There was time. And if "ifs and buts" were fruits and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas."

We'd have our same dominant, healthy roster!

What I'd do to get Justin Blackmon on this team. Could you imagine him and AJ?

Long thread so I'm not going back to see where the comments and/or actions by Shockey were discussed previously...

What a douche. How does he not get a taunting penalty on that td? Then to go all "they disrespected Merica" was just plain stupid.

From Shockey's wiki page on his tatoo...

    Holy crap! It's him!

Wasn't Shockey pointing at laughing in Demeco's face after his first catch? Wouldn't that be taunting?

good thing we don't have to gameplan for Cam Newton every week. If the Texans lay an egg in the next game... it's full on panic mode.

I think the person that felt Wade's absense the most . . it was Kubiak
This is probably the poorest called offensive game of the season
I have to say also . . .TJ look far too timid and gunshy
