when you think about it..Texans played this bad most of the Bengals game..a lot of penalities and other things went well for us and we escaped with that win barely. The upcoming Titans game just got a lot harder for us. Bye bye first round bye.
I predict the Texans shutting out the Panthers in the second half! Texans score 28 unanswered to win it!
If the Texans play like this on Thursday, I wouldn't be surprised if the Colts beat us. Yeah, I said it.
I know; not a good mentality to have. IF we lose, I think a loss before the playoffs can be a good thing; winning out to get to the super bowl is tough.
With houstons luck, we will come back to tie it, get the ball for a gamewinning drive, then throw a pick 6 to blow it.
Actually this is a game that I was worried about from a few weeks ago. Newton has been playing out of his mind all season, and although realistically we should be able to stop the guy, we can't expect to play tit-for-tat in an offensive showdown with a back-up QB. Not to mention that without Phillips at the defensive helm it's almost like we're back to square one (alarming as that is). If teams never lost to teams they "shouldn't lose to", then the league would be a pretty darn boring place. It happens to the best (which is what we are now). Regardless, the game isn't even over.
Joseph not being able to cover Smith solo has had a huge impact on defense. Running game is having a tough time even with the Panthers generally keeping containment on Yates. Jacoby Jones or Daniels need to make a big play in the seam.
If they said that then they were sorely mistaken. If we lose out and Broncos win out then we would be 4th seed. 10 and 6 doesn't beat 11 and 5.
Defense getting tired, offense looking really bad, seems entire team was flat, young teams celebrate early, they don't know how to handle success. That looks like what is happening here. DD
To be fair, who the hell expects a fumblerooski? Not that I'm defending Herring, but it's because of Tebow reviving the option that coaches are bringing up gimmick plays.
