I don't post much here but been reading for years...but its wothy I guess of a new thread

At my daughters club volleyball tournament atF.A.S.T Complex...and see Mr. Morey sitting and watching. Come up to him and say, "good game last night, Mr. Morey". He said, "thanks a long way from where we need to be but not bad"

Will try to talk to him later...he was busy talking to some other moms. Anything y'all want me to ask him?

    I wouldn't bother with questions

when he talked to Worrell yesterday he looked pissed and not in the mood

it seems like he's still stressed out about the trade not going through

He is watching 12 year old play...dunno if he has a 12 year old daughter. So saw him in between games...dude looks tired. I sat and talked to him for a bit.

Who is the next all star player u are shooting for?
"Hopefully one of our guys becomes that all star player...but we are always looking". He mentioned that they are always trying to find the right fit and figuring out who it would be to bring us to the next level. Etc etc

Mentioned JHill havin a good game last night and he seemed prety confident...
"He is one of the brighter spots in camp this year" he also said something in the terms of Jordan needing to focus on being consistent and keeping his confidence up.

Mentioned that Hasheem looks better than I thought he would last night...more the first half than 2nd half...
With a annoyed look, "he is getting there but when he is winded his game comes down a bit"...."we are at step 1 with him right now and that's where we want to be with him" furthermore he said something to the affect that they are bringing him to get back to fundamentals and keeping the energy level high. "His energy level is up and down right now" also goes along with his confidence. They are trying to keep him focussed and committed and excited to be on the court.

Didn't want to keep him much longer since he is with his family...but that's the scoop. :)

Thanks for sharing. I feel a bit sorry for Mr. Morey because "we" even follow him around at a private event. Hope he doesn't mind too much.

Naw lol...like AroundtheWorld said...I wanted to keep it short to respect the little time he has with his family. He was very accomodating and a nice person. But if he comes up to me to talk, which I doubt, then ill tell him to check out the GARM :)

Naw I tweeted his pic this morning and he replied back with a private message, "Hello :)"

My reply, "Hey man, u were busy with the ladies so I didn't want to interupt...GG last night...I'm at court 8 if u wanna chat."

Then I talked to him in between matches since he was sitting alone with his son.

    He added me on twitter.

My reply," thank for the small chat..its greatly appreciated from an avid rockets fan. Been a fan since before I can remember."

His reply, "Great to meet you!"

    Very nice!

I think the man probably deserves some family time after the last several weeks. He looked a bit burned out in those media day interviews.

It's a horrible feeling to work your ass off on a big project and then have nothing to show for it.I know all of us can relate on some level to this.
