This is a good comparison. Chapman was a beast. At times Chapman was the best player on the floor, and was fearless.

Maybe Jimmer can show Chuck Hayes how to be a mature and decent human being.

Except that Chapman was so athletic he was a slam dunk contest champion.

Jimmer doesn't have hops like that. Nice stroke though

The main thing I see similar is the way they both were fearless on the court and their stroke, but you are right Rex was WAY more athletic. Jimmer is very crafty though.

    Yup.

Matador defense will keep him on mediocre teams too. Then eventually he will lose faith and stop trying. Eventually , he will be an assistant coach back at BYU.

It's halftime and in 17 minutes Jimmer is leading the Kings in scoring with 10 points on 4/7 shooting (2/4 from three). He got blown by once, but it was Monta Ellis - no one stays in front of that guy.

It looks like the Kings need to re-sign Dalembert.

no, they need to get rid of tyreke evans. You can't play both marcus thorton and tyreke evans. Neither give up the ball nor create any shots for team mates and they are the ultimate chuckers.

I have a funny feeling there's gonna be a chemistry problem between Tyreke and Jimmer. And if Sac Town is smart, they will trade Tyreke while he has high trade value. He is extremely overrated.

Now with 19 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal on 70% shooting (4/6 from three) after three quarters. Would have broken the 20 point mark already if he weren't struggling uncharacteristically at the line (1/4).

Jimmer looks like a keeper because he can do more than just shoot jumpers. His handles, floor vision and good basketball sense will keep him in the NBA a long time. But he will have big problems defending good offensive players.

I think Reke might wear out his welcome in Sactown this season.

    Jimmer IS a keeper.

ROY or runner up to Kyrie is what I would expect from him.
