    So I was watching the Nets Vs. the Knicks today and Marshon Brooks is a complete clone of Kobe. His shot is the same. His ball handling is the same. Even his hairstyle is the same as when Kobe had that fro early in his career. He's got the same shooting style down to a key. It's ridiculous.


    He was the 25th pick this year btw by the Nets. Also, apparently after googling I am not alone in this comparison.

    I straight up thought i was watching Kobe for a bit...thats kind of scary. Honestly Kobes skillset isnt dominating...its his fire and focus.

    This guy has all the tools and if he can harness the mambas bite we could be talkin bout PRACTICE. PLAYOFFS? PLAYOFFS? HE IS EXACTLY WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE.

    his shot looks a little wild to me. but if he gets that form down and practices like Kobe, the Nets may have found something good!

    He's someone I thought was just as good as Alec Burks, the 10th pick in the draft since he's just so crazily efficient and athletic. Having Kobe as a role model is so much better than MJ IMHO, MJ was known for dunks, shoes and clutch step back 3s, and it spawned all these "be like Mike" clones which ruined the careers of guys like AI, Tmac and Vince Carter. Kobe, oth, was known more for having complete B-ball skills and intense training, so I think people who idolize him will work on their game rather than focusing on highlight dunks over people and game-winning 3s.

    Anyway the Nets have my fav, sg duo in Morrow and Brooks. Really deadly assassins :cool:

    Hold on a sec, did you accidentally post a video of a young Kobe bc I dont know whats real or not anymore. Whenever the wind blows I'll wonder if it is sighing "maaaaarshoooon" or if it is screaming "Kobeeeeee."

    All of the above is 100% false.

    I can't recall Micahel Jordan ever taking a stepback three.

    MJ was a straight disciple of Magic & Larry, and his fundamental skill was on a completely different level than Kobe Bryant, who has imitated Jordan more than anyone, with the exception of far more three point chucking...
