first post...(although I've been a clutchfan follower for a while now...) I see a 24-10 win for the good guys and this week has slowly crawled along
I was just trying to compare averages, but yea early,...whatever,..2.5 games will generally tell you something about somebody..regardless 2.5<13 games no joke...Maybe TJ will throw more INT's than TD's like Cam Newton after 13 games but I don't see it with what we have seen...but like I said - don't know the future but I do know if 300 yard 2 TD type games continue,...not entirely sure I want him to sit next year Newton has noticed. "I’m a fan of T.J. as far as what he did this past week. Throwing for 300 yards on a pretty good solid team, that’s very impressive," Newton said http://bostonherald.com/sports/foot...07&format=&page=1&listingType=nfl#articleFull It will be quite interesting to see who performs better this Sunday. We shall see. . .
Pancakes says he might sit out the regular season. Gotta hope for a 1st round bye. We need him to play against Titans.
cant wait should be n exciting game to say the least, i think Cam is in for a world of hurt going against Cush and our D. i say we make a statement this game for coach Wade... GO TEXANS!!!!
A lot of it will depend on what happens around the league this week. This week is the BEST chance for the Texans to get out of that four-way tie of the 10-3 teams and possibly separate themselves (meaning, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, AND New England could each possibly lose this week). If we come out of this week with a loss, or all the teams are still tied, there's a good chance that AJ will not make a difference in terms of us being above the # 3 seed.
Either NE or BAL need to drop a game and we beat Car and Ind for us to have a shot at the bye. If those things happen, and Andre is feeling 100% in practice next weekend (after Ind)....then maye he comes back. But I expect them to treat him with not kid gloves, but newborn baby gloves. We can get away without him now, but we go nowhere in the playoffs if he reaggravates a hamstring and is done.
Arian Foster needs 43 rushing yards to reach 1,000 for the season. I'm hoping he gets it with a big run during the first series. Reason for pessimism concerning the game: Berman pick the Texans to win. That usually means the kiss of death since the opposite almost always happen. Can the Texans overcome all their injuries and the jinx that comes with a Berman pick? If the Texans can pull out a victory it could put pressure on the other 10-win teams in the AFC. They all start at 3:15 or later, so they'll know whether they need to win to keep pace with Houston.
The Texans are already in the driver's seat as they have 3 sure wins in a row if they protect the ball. The Ravens, Steelers and Patriots all have at least one tough game left. Let's just hope San Diego stops the Ravens and Tebow (more likely the Bronco's defense) puts the hurt on the Patriots this week.
If all those other teams lose and The Texans win, no one will know that they're in first because Tebow madness will be broadcasting 24/7, which will be perfect for keeping the team under the radar.
