Clutch had already said that he puts the Rockets at #5 and went through the four teams he thinks are better, and Nuno kept calling team names to hear if Clutch thinks they are better or worse than the Rockets. No big deal, though, I enjoyed the interview anyway.

Dave on awhile ago. -(On Dalembert) Not trying to get him on the cheap but they got a dollar figure in mind. Dalembert was down the list earlier in the off-season. If they were willing to pay top market/dollar figure, they would've had him by now. -I see him as an average NBA center. Rockets think he is a great rebounder. Adding him makes you a playoff threat, certainly more than you are now, but looking at the bigger picture, giving him more than a 1 year deal, does that hurt them in the future? -(On fans getting impatient): Certainly wasn't Daryl's fault this time. I understand people's frustration. The Rockets have fallen off the map. Not on NBA superstars map. Daryl has consistently made good moves. He is on the clock now. -(If Morey too smart for his own good): Fair point. Certainly, he takes fewer risks. That has been great in some ways and hasn't worked out in others. Rockets had control to get Chandler, it fell apart and Dallas gets him and rest is history. Moves like that, he kept the value where it should have been and maybe should have went more. I still think he's the right man for the job. They need to take a step back but they're not willing to do that. They'll try to get/go after a Rashard Lewis or other players but bringing max dollars, they aren't the ones to pay top dollar.(Note: he's not talking about going after Lewis now. Referring to when Lewis was a FA a few years ago ) -(If it is still "In Daryl we trust"?): Always overwhelmingly positive but seeing people get impatient or frustrated. The Rockets are the 3rd best team in Texas. People are frustrated. Looking at the Paul/Pau trade, people are asking/saying Rockets are giving all that up, why aren't they getting Paul, why are the Rockets playing second fiddle here? We want to see something happen. They're treading water. That's where frustration lies and people taking it out on Daryl and unfairly imo. (If the Rockets should tank?): I believe that is the way to go but Rockets have a different idea in mind. What the Rockets tried to do with Gasol, not many saw that. It would have been an interesting trade. I don't think a contender right away. Right now where they are and Clippers jumping them, they need to take a step back. Daryl is the right guy and if you give him a top lottery pick, I believe he'll make the right decision. That's the direction they need to go. (On how different will the roster look from today to the trade deadline in March?): Cant tell you exactly. Daryl is frustrated or angry with how that thing was handled with the NBA. From the sounds of it, Rockets don't have anything in the works in next 24 hours. They're looking for that type of move to step forward or looking out for the future. I think they're looking at both directions. (On who is sticking out to him): To me, Terrence Williams. McHale brought up Jordan Hill. Said he's coachable and working hard. Terrence looks explosive. Really blows past his man to get to the hoop. Overpowered Budinger. Shooting is his concern and turnovers too. You hope to see him impact on D. He talks a lot but he's in incredible condition. (Back up PG situation):They like Flynn. Injuries issue in the past. No decision yet. (On Chuck and his situation): He's a terrific guy. Hoping for the best with him. Prayers go out to him and hopefully no serious issue with his heart. (If Lowry the heart and soul of the team w/ Chuck gone): I think he has to be. He got leadership qualities. He is probably the leader.
