Eh. Do you blame him? If I was in his position, owning something I didn't want, I would do my best to sell it for the best possible price. You add those two on that trade and boom, you have a hell of a sellable franchise...
I highly recomend everyone check out the audio clip from Stern. I still don't know if I agree but I see his point of view better. He had to make sure the Hornets would remain a younger team, attractive to a new owner. Morey should have known better. http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/category/blogtable/
No he didn't. He wanted the deal to get cancelled to force CP3 to the Clippers and put ridiculous demands.
When stern dies, god will tell him "basketball reasons" then send him to hell where the devil will rape him for eternity and all he'll be able to watch is indiana pacer games.
He forced the trade to a certain destination. It had nothing to do with us. It had everything to do with the Lakers. He didnt want Chris Paul there and we got caught in Sterns crossfire. Now the organization should act. Time to put some legal action on him.
he wanted the illusion that he wasnt involved. but we all know now that he is up to his armpit in that puppet franchise.
This move by Stern and the NBA will go down as one of the worst blunders in the history of sports. This did more damage than steroids or gambling did to baseball. When the entire overall integrity of the sport get cast into doubt, it may never regain what was so stupidly and arrogantly thrown away: the goodwill of the fans. Seriously, this is the equivalent of one of those horrible stories where you hear about some jackass multiple-offender drunk driver, going out and getting wasted, getting behind the wheel and ends up killing some family of 6 coming home from church. And the drunk walks away without a scratch. Not this time Stern. Some deep-pockets owner is going to hire a private investigator, and all the facts of this crooked process WILL come to light (phone records to the Clips GM from the League Office, anyone?), someone snitches, the league cheated, dictated Billups-to-Clips, and it will all start to unravel from there. A lot of times, 'the fans' instincts' are superficial and just plain wrong, but in this case, this stank so badly that the sham is openly evident for all to see, and the league-wide embarrassment will be felt for years.
If that's the case he should have been giving us Paul, not Pau. He clearly just wanted Paul to be in a big market and tried to use us to keep the Hornets attractive so they can find an owner. What a joke of a league.
Flip the Script <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/T-jXe0x4YdM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Stern would somehow flip the script and say it was the Rockets fault for getting raped.
I don't think thats the case. So why didn't the rockets just offer lowry, patterson, and someone else for paul? I wouldve given up lowry, patterson and scola for paul without an extension.
Scola is the "ice cream" man right??? Did you see him in like the last 3 or 4 olylmpic tournaments?? Lets not detract from his game simply because Pat is younger than him. I have never seen Patrick Patterson do a counter move in the post or an up and under head-fake move. He is a power player, has a good motor, and a sweet 15 footer. I love Pat-Pat too, but I'm saying, don't hate on Scola.
this is just a gay and worn out quote buddy... every mutherfuker on here is mad at stern... keep it buck nasty boys
