Ok... I hate to break it to a lot of fans here, but at the end of the day with or without this trade LA, Hou and NO stay the same. LA still makes billions on TV deals and continues to be a force to be reckoned with. Houston still remains to be a mediocre franchise who is just one or two superstars away from winning it all. NO still remains the b*stard step child of the NBA. Nothing would have changed, and nothing will change because of this deal. The only thing you'll be doing by cancelling your League Pass subscription is missing the little bit of the Rockets you get every year...

If you have direct TV you can order the Sports Package which includes FSNHOU for 9.99/MO

Thanks man! I'll def. look into it. I'm also on the east valley in Chandler. It's broadband or HD stuff only when they play the Suns or Chicago on WGN. No ESPN or TNT for this team. LOL

Honestly it could also have been a dumb guy in Tucson telling me that too. I would say ask and make sure to get in writing that you can still watch Rockets games. I was so frustrated with Comcast/NBA League Pass one year I looked into different satellite services and was basically given the same answer by all of them. It's even worse now that I live in Eugene.

The sad thing is, I don't want to illegally stream the games and I've been trying to give the NBA money, but to be fair I still get a lot of games blacked out. It's not right...

I made the decision to drop League pass two months ago. My interest in the Rockets has been on life support ever since the Artest incident and it had gotten to the point that I found myself missing most of the Rockets games anyway. The final straw was when Morey replaced Adelman with McHale. I have to admit that my interest in the Rockets plummeted even lower because I don't believe in him as a coach. After 12 years of watching this organization stumble and bumble along, I am not longer content with their empty promises of improvement and their endless justifications for mediocrity. When they finally decide to get their act together, I reconsider spending the $300 to watch them once more.
