Gruesome. Poor lady. And the two people stuck in there are pretty traumatized too.

Seems like they'd rather save a small amount of money rather than a human life.

 

This happened in Houston were a guy got his head decapitated.

 

The article states it was last inspected in June

 

And that 2003 was the last time it received a violation for a safety hazard.

 

i'm still having a hard time understanding what happened. Her foot was caught, but the door was open? I don't get it.

Regardless, what a freak accident.

 

That's the one I always think of.

 

Doesn't final destination usually have clever death scenes?

 

especially the "almost got killed by a carwash" death. That stuff cant even clean bird****.

The door was open. She's going in. Her foot gets caught in the gap between the lobby floor and the elevator itself. She's halfway in. The elevator starts to rise suddenly and she gets caught between. Gruesome.
