I agree they need to package Mo Williams to some other team. However if you think it the other way, they could still not win a playoff series, but there will be another MLE player joining in next year plus Paul already agreed to play till end of 2012, their real shot will be next year.

That's why the Clippers make this trade 10/10. Griffin is here to stay now (unless Paul gets injured).

Vinny will be gone soon. You can't have an incompetent coach 2 superstars.

I think the starting lineup and rotation becomes

    C: Jordan/Thompkins
    PF: Griffin
    SF: Butler/Gomes
    SG: Billups
    PG: Paul/Bledsoe

And for everyone wondering why they called Jordan.....his agent called him. Not the clippers

    It was probably his agent.

He finally has the weight of expectations on him. CP3 will have Vinny in the palm of his hand and own him, which may save Vinny's job. CP3 will become a coach on the floor and his skill is running their offense could make Vinny look good. I'm curious to see how it plays out. If CP3 wants him gone, he's outta there.

With the expectations of winning now in Clipperland, you think Paul/Griffin will be happy having an incompetent coach? When they start losing close games b/c of poor coaching decisions (or non-decisions), they'll start complaining to upper management and his ass will be canned.

This guy is a terrible coach.

they should try to trade for manu ginobili, that would really improve that team and make them a threat.

They still have crazy low cap space. They could send us cash and some 2nd rd picks for Lee.

Anyone not thinking CP3 makes them top 5 in the west must not remember how how much of an x factor he is, he didn't play with much talent in New Orleans, but he was the closest thing to Lebron carrying a bad Cavs team to the finals, when healthy I think he is in the top 3 players who can get his team to the playoffs without much talent.

It's the Clippers. The negative cosmic energy emanating from Donald Sterling will find a way to screw this up. The question is how? The answer may just lie in knees, as in Chris Paul has a history of knee issues. Paul may have just been sentenced to a reemergence of injuries that would not have otherwise reoccurred had he been traded elsewhere.

I'd like to see the Clips outshine the Lakers for a few years, but... it is the Clippers. I'll beleive the Sterling's curse is broken when it is broken.

LOL, that's was a random reply. My post was about Griffin's demeanor. Yes, he was excited, but seemed somewhat immature.

No one here mentioning Travis Leslie, Foye, Moon as possible SGs?
