Hamilton is an underrated defender. He will fit in well with Thibs' system. Chicago just filled a glaring hole in their lineup.
The only weak links are Boozer and Brewer. Ha Ha both are former Jazz products. I dont think they can contend until they upgrade Boozer.
They now might be able to beat the Celtics but not the Heat. Hamilton's FG% is way off from where he once was, and his minutes per game and games per season are down from his past years.
are rips 3s good enough for the bulls???? him and deng on wings doesn't really stop the D collapsing against Rose
Damn. The Bulls look real solid now. They may need a back up SG/SF, but that's all they are missing. If they have as good of a defense as they did last season, scary.
Rip doesn't need to shoot 3s to be effective. He is great at playing off the ball and finding open spots on the floor.
Such a great and very much needed pick up for this team. Going to be even more exciting to watch this team.
Morey should have traded Lee last year when he had the chance. Props to The Bulls GM for not folding and knowing Hamilton would be let go sooner or latter.
Refresh my memory: What were the Bulls willing to give up for Lee? I know Morey insisted on Asik and that killed the deal.
Boozer/Gibson makes them very solid at the 4. There isn't very much upgrading to do at that position for them.
They were offering their first rounder and possible the Heats first rounder they got. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/rumors/post/Bulls-trying-to-obtain-Rockets-Lee?urn=nba-325165
Hamilton can not only shoot threes, but is good off of a screen, he should be able to take pressure off of Rose.
The rich just got richer. The Bulls are finally coming along after a very long winter of losing under a GM, Jerry Krause, who was considered a "do no wrong genius and who had a master plan". I really hope Mr. Alexander would take a look at the Jerry Krause era and make the appropriate comparisons, then draw lessons and learn from that bitter experience before many more years are wasted by the Rockets organization. I bet Mr. Alexander made his fortune by not listening to snake oil salesmen. He should apply that experience now to the Rockets situation and get a GM who knows and had a long experience in basketball.
Damn straight. It's those GMs with basketball experience who know what they're doing, like Jordan and Isiah and McHale.
That depends, Crawford is very good at making his own shots but he is not as effective without the ball, hence why he plays off the bench. Hamilton on the other hand, makes Derrick Rose absolutely deadly. Perfect synergy between the two. In the playoffs where there are good rests between each game, most teams stick with their starters for the majority of the game. The Bulls' starting lineup just became deadly. Wade and Lebron are going to have to expend a lot more energy on defense this time around.
I still don't know if they're good enough to beat Miami, Boozer has to really step it up, and they need a backup SF, the fact that Deng plays almost the whole game really worries me.
