I am going off the assumption of course that Morey is way more competent than the Clippers front office and we can somehow do all of this relatively quick and painlessly. Somehow get our young guys to play more and build their rep and at the same time lose just enough to get a tiny bit higher in the draft. I am not talking about top pick but somewhere in the top 8 to possibly pick a star. Not talking about giving away Scola and Martin for peanuts either. I am talking about searching for the best possible picks in the draft and young players for Martin and Scola we could get. Even if we have to overpay for them a little. Then have cap flexibility to sign good free agents by next years draft to make the transition quick, and the losses minor for about one season.
I think this may be the beginning of the end of Morey. No results in 4+ years, not his fault but guys who don't produce after such a long time are usually axed.
