Lakers will still be good, but I am very happy they did not get Paul and I will be happy when they end up not getting Howard.

I think you might be the delusional one if you don't think that it's possible. The Lakers have A LOT of bandwagon fans. Probably more than the Heat have right now.

As someone who has lived the majority of my life in Los Angeles, I've always had a soft spot for the Clippers. They've always been the underdog team that I felt were pretty okay. I've never liked them out of any masochistic drive or out of pure pity, I just think they're the likeable L.A. basketball team (which they certainly are).

I would be willing to bet that a lot of those season tickets buyers are people like me; guys who have out of town allegiances but have always liked the Clippers due to them being a non-threat to their first team, but now that they have Griffin and Paul they're going to be THE premiere show in Los Angeles. Not to mention Clips tix are always cheap, so this season it's certainly a great value for the price.

All it takes is one bum knee from CP3 for them to be in lottery again.

CP3 has taken worse teams to the postseason and a worst team than that to the second round.

If the Clipps can find the right rotation, they would be a threat despite the older guys in the lineup.

Umm are the Lakers not making the playoffs this year? Seriously doubt that the Lakers will have a hard time filling up that arena when they play.

It's a really good start. You can build around Griffin/Paul/Jordan. It's a whole lot better than the rockets or anything the Clippers have had in recent memory.

This team is also scary for another reason. Paul, Griffin, and Butler, whose knee goes out first? :(

Exactly, right on the mark. Paul staying healthy will be the key.

They should look at signing Crawford, Young, Affalo, Chandler or AK-47. They need quality depth on the wing, they dont have anyone besides Butler. They need depth behind Griffin and Jordan too.

A support cast of Randy Foye, Craig Smith, Ryan Gomes and Brian Cook will get them no where.
