It's not semantics i am not saying lose on purpose. I'm not suggesting that the players don't play hard. I'm suggesting that we play the young guys and give them a chance to develop. Will we most likely have a losing record with this strategy yes but tanking it is not

Said like a pro as usual. Once the clippers got involved, no other team could really trump their young players. The only team would be someone like gsw offering curry or ok city with westbrook. Also considering playing somewhere with a pretty good player in griffin. Say what you will, but the clipps have never really over paid players. Mo taylor, derek anderson demanded max, got traded. They paid brand when he was worth it.

If you have actually paid any attention to what is going on with the Rockets organization, you would know that it is Les who is refusing to tear it down and rebuild. Les has told Morey to rebuild while still being competitive. How do you expect him to go against his boss's wishes?

    Clippers Lineup
    Chris Paul
    Chauncey Billups
    Caron Butler
    Blake Griffin
    Deandre Jordan

Damn! this line up can beat any team in the western conference. Only thing that maybe is a concern is the injury history of Butler, Paul, and Billups

I love it so you guys are saying that it's Les's fault? If morey was a real gm he would tell Les what the rockets need to do to get better. If he can't convince Les to do whats best for the team then he's not doing his job.

Your basically saying Morey is just a yes man

Your argument doesn't make any sense. You're blaming the wrong person.

How your saying Morey is doing what Les tells him to do which makes him a yes man. The point is Morey agrees with Les's stance and if he doesn't agree with it he doesn't have the balls to tell les

I think the Clippers shouldn't have gave up Gordon..

    Gordon is a real player.

If you go against your bosses wishes in the real world, you lose your job PERIOD.

You must not be in the workforce yet, for you to miss this simple business maxim.

LOl really last time I checked I have been working for quite sometime. When your in upper management like Morrey your aloud to voice your opinions. So basically what your saying is that Morey is a figure head and Les calls all of the shots?

I experienced this two weeks ago, the Monday after Thanksgiving. Standing for principle can be very costly.

I think you are overrating Griffin just a tad. Exciting player? Sure. Once-in-a-generation type players get their teams in the playoffs.

Or he told Les his opinion, but as the boss, Less overruled him.

No. Morey calls the shots, but under the criteria Les has instilled. I'd like to see another GM that could do what Les is doing right now. It's not easy to do given the Rocket's circumstances.

LOL so you're saying if DM was a real gm he'd go against the owner no matter what?

After that maybe he can sit at home and tell himself he was a real gm for about 5 seconds before he got fired
