This just proves the Rockets need a real superstar on the team to be able to entice other superstar free agents to join and build a championship team. The Clippers are where they are because they were bad enough to get a #1 Draft Pick and get Blake Griffin. The Rockets need to be that bad in order to be great.

Gordon was on a bus with Clips season-ticket holders, going to fan stops, when he got the news. "Awkward," one says. Another: "Looked sad."

Just confirmed that Clippers Season Tickets are sold out. Believed to be the first time in team history.

Great job ATW at being disrespectful and rude. If you don't agree with somebody fine but your insults are pathetic. You are a complete homer and have no objectivity not one team in the nba would agree with your views on Kmart and Gordon. Gordon is just as good on offense and is a much better defender. Defense is half the game and Kmart is one of the worst defenders in the NBA.

"You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to AroundTheWorld again."

Thanks for saying it for me. Those mistakes were the first things I noticed, after that, the rest of it was.....blah.

Define "rebuilding" and define "when Yao went down". Because I would put the second at November 2010, not May 2008. And I'm sorry, I've seen your posts where you want that Morey sucks because he won't tank ( that's an interesting guideline for a GM - you remind me of someone who said Kahn's a good GM explicitly because the Puppies put out terrible team year after year), and your definition seems to be "Trade Scola and Martin for nothing." Really, I think I can understand why Morey won't do that.

Say what you want but the Twolves have a brighter future then the Rockets. I would say after 2010. Btw tanking is not trading veterans and playing young players. Tanking is losing on purpose and I never suggested that. I have suggested the Rockets rebuild.

Once again, you start out with a false premise. There is no vote by every owner of every team on trade decisions by the Hornets' management. This is clearly absolutely wrong.

Wrong again. Stern is not the "spokesperson for the owners who own the Hornets".

Jac Sterling was appointed as Chairman.

    http://www.nola.com/hornets/index.ssf/2010/12/jac_sperling_nba-appointed_new.html

Did you hear anything at all from him regarding the deal that was vetoed? Why did the league office announce the veto? If anything, the Chairman of the New Orleans Hornets would have had to announce the veto. Yet, the league office did, claiming that they did so acting as the owners of the Hornets. That doesn't make any sense at all.

Of course, Phil Jackson saw all of this coming already a year ago:

    http://www.nola.com/hornets/index.ssf/2010/12/phil_jackson_critical_of_nbas.html

    http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/news/story?id=5968288

Jackson was absolutely right. This whole thing was very foreseeable and the proper thing to do for Stern would have been to let Demps and Jac Sterling make the final call. But since he is a power-hungry control freak, he could just not do that.

"A bit" = "not much". Sorry if that is difficult to understand for you.

I mainly saw him in the games against the Rockets. I admit to not watching all games of all teams during an 82 game season.

Semantics. In the name of "rebuilding", we dump Scola and Martin for crap picks ( and if you think otherwise, the defense presents Lamar Odom), correct and throw some Lowry-Lee-Williams-Patterson-Thabeet lineup. Am I right then?
