if GM means Greedy Mofo, then yes. OK this is gonna be the real Battle LA, unlike that crappy movie:grin:
CP3 is a helluva player. I like Gordon, but I doubt he'll ever have as big an impact as Paul has on the game. Sota pick SHOULD be 8th IMO, but will probably end up first
I think Clips would be better off with a Billups/Gordon backcourt and Kaman as a back up big then Chris Paul, no notable shooting guard, and one less solid back up big. CP3 could leave too..
Kaman is an All Star and expiring contract. No future salary commitment for a team in state of flux. I think Gordon is already a special player. If he improves he's a franchise player.
Gordon > Martin 2012 Minny pick > 2012 NY Pick Aminu and Kaman > Scola and Odom salary wise Don't be a homer now.
I thought he agreed to do the opt-in with the Clippers, which gurantees the next two seasons plus this one?
no it guarantees him for the 2012-2013 season and then he becomes a FA. But damn, this makes the LA deal look like crap. Stern played hardball AND got what he wanted.
Good deal. Got young talent and an attractive pick. I like that the Clips and the Jazz before them both demanded a high price for their star players.
The Clips deal is done. ESPN announced it. CP3 to the Clips, Gordon/Minnie pick/Kaman/Aminu to Hornets.
Assuming this goes through, is Howard the last big name to move for a while? Between the 2010 hype that started way too early (thanks a lot, Knicks fans) Melo drama and now Cp3 and Howard, I'm sick of these long and drawn out deals with over speculation and whining.
BimaThug BimaThug With CP3 trade, the Hornets now have two high-priced centers (Kaman, Okafor). What are the odds #Rockets make a play for one of them?
Okay, the Minny pick should be better than the NY pick. But I thought the Lakers were also going to give their first-round pick? I disagree with the rest. Scola and Odom are much, much better players than Aminu and Kaman. Gordon and Martin is a wash, at best. The Hornets should consider themselves fortunate if they had had locked up Scola and Odom for a few years...because who wants to play there, really. What will all that cap space do for them?
Good for the Clippers (I mean that sincerely). That doesn't mean I'm not pissed about what happened to Houston in this whole fiasco...but good for the Clippers.
