The Pac 12 has been adding a fun variety of coaches lately. That conference is definitely on the up-and-up. Reminds me of the Big 12 in basketball a few years ago -- Huggy Bear, Billy Clyde, Drew, etc...

When USC becomes eligible again, the Pac 12 will be legit... and more importantly, philosophically diverse.

Heard his buyout was $2mil. Kind of ridiculous.

Too bad he never learned anything other than the Wishbone, basically Ken Hatfield with less scruples. At U of H he'd probably turn out like Helton, where he's completely mediocre but such a decent/likable guy that the players and media like him, and the AD just lets him hang around cuz of the cost savings.

Not sure if it is posted but Arkansas State hired Gus Malzahn from Auburn to replace Hugh Freeze who went to Ole Miss.

He was a hot commodity a year ago, but with no Cam (and insane publicity hungry wife) your options narrow - note to Kevin Sumlin: selling high was the right decision.

There's no place like Jonesboro, AR for someone who's publicity hungry. Maybe it'll help her get a free membership to the bar at the Holiday Inn. They have a pretty hopping karaoke night.

Spent some time there in my previous career. I'm partially responsible for many of the Sonic's in the area.

Damn you! Those things are everywhere here now. There are more of them than McDonalds! LOL!;)

I actually work at ASU and everybody here is going cuckoo for this hire. It's still ASU so if he does well he'll be gone in a year and if he does poorly he'll be relegated to a coordinator position somewhere.

Graham leaves in his usual "classy" way. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsport...tedly-leaving-pitt-for-arizona-state/related/

UPDATED 1:09 p.m. ET: As it turns out, Graham didn’t inform Pitt players via email of his decision to leave. Instead, he sent a statement to his director of football operations, who then texted it to the young men. Here’s the text of the, um, text.

“I have resigned my position at Pitt in the best interest of my family to pursue the head coaching position at Arizona State. Coaching there has always been a dream of ours and we have family there. The timing of the circumstances have prohibited from telling you this directly. I now am on my way to Tempe to continue those discussions. God Bless. Coach Graham.”

Stay classy, Coach Graham. Stay classy.
