His grand plan was yanked out from under him. And as I always point out, we have no idea how much Les meddles.

A bigger concern, though, are these vague internet rumblings that Morey isn't well liked, and that might be holding him/us back. I don't know if that's true or not, but Morey does represent a new way of doing things, and that could be very threatening to the old school.

This. Dream was only 6-10 and somehow he managed.

I think one these cats will make the final cut ...

    Greg Smith, 6-9, 250
    Marcus Cousin, 6-11, 255
    Omar Samhan, 6-11, 265

You gotta think than McHale will want at least one more big body on the roster besides Thabeet.

If i were McHale, I would keep 2 of those and get rid of Thabeet. I just don't see Thabeet being anything more than a D League center at best

Maybe, just maybe, he could blossom into Kelvin Cato 2.0.

Lots of red flags in his scouting reports. Draftexpress probably has his lane agility test wrong, instead of being the most agile player in the NBA-as the draftexpress score would suggest- he scored among the worse (all positions included) in the combine according to most other sites.

Did he make the final roster spot or just add to training camp to compete for the last spot? Not excited about any of the D-lg centers in training camp. Hope we just sign Jeremy Lin.

How many more un-draftable scrubs can one team take?

I think he measured at 6'10" barefooted and like 6'11 3/4ths in shoes, at least that is what I remember.

Honestly I looked at the 2013 free agency...if we can trade for a center...we absolutely need to tank....

there is no chance of us getting one in free agency for 2-3 min...and that is "chance" by then martin and scola will most likely be gone.

We need to try and trade scola and or martin for draft picks or upgrade our drafts picks.

This draft is the answer for centers. There is about 5 centers in or around the lotter level...plus drummond which id do whatever i could to get him...we should have done it last year for kanter...but he may be our last chance at a legit center.
