Actually, there were some reports that the Clips might be willing to swap Mo Williams for Ariza in a Paul trade. Plus, adding Billups allows the Clips to be more open to moving Bledsoe.

True. I still think the Stern wouldn't take a deal without Gordon though.

He was the linchpin of this deal and the Clipper will not let him go.

I think its about him not getting raped in a deal, imagine what kind of a rep he would get if he did. Its all about him and how he portrays himself to the rest of the league, he puts his reputation first before any franchise. There may be champions in this league but David Stern has been the only real winner in this league trough out the years he always get what he wants!

    Just curious is
Chris Kaman, Al-Farouq Aminu, Eric Bledsoe and Minnesota's unprotected 2012 first-round draft pick.
(which i firmly believe they will not include gordon)

    better than
Scola Martin dragic and then whatever young piece we were adding with the two draft picks?

Kaman would basically just be an expiring...and no one worth anything will want to sign there next year anyway. The funny thing is the reports are the hornets need cap space to sign free agents... who the heck are they going to sign for better deals next year than scola and martin... Aminu and Bledsoe are good but I just dont think they are anywhere near scola and martin... and the 2012 minnesota pick isnt guaranteed to be a lottery pick.

is there really a huge difference in our 1st rounder and theres? I mean even the knicks will prob be the 24th pick in the east...I just dont think there is a big difference in this trade. Id actually prefer ours if I were the hornets.

Kaman when healthy and we saw it against the rockets is a very good 7 ft er and he is in the last year of the contract. Aminu and bledsoe have youth on their side along with a cheap contract. The minny picks is possibly a top 10 pick. If you were the hornets gm, which do you take?

We'd have to trade for picks/young players, preferably to a team willing to absorb contracts. Of course, we have a trade exception, too, although we want some extra cap space, even w/o Nene available.

    Washington? Minnesota? Cleveland?
