Like you've said many, many times. No star wants to come to Houston. So now we are almost stuck with him.;) As for starting Hill, that would not be a bad idea, but Thabeet moves his feet well for a big man and won't get pushed around so much in the post.

Thabeet is as mobile as Matt Schaub.

Don't give me that garbage that he "moves his feet well".

He's mentally and physically not fit for NBA action.

Hell the Vipers wanted no part of him.

Just Amnesty his ass and move on.

I'd start Lowry at center over this bum.

Last season. We haven't seen anything to proclaim Hill awful this season yet.

We haven't seen anything to proclaim Yao Ming injured this season yet.

He's saying to proclaim Hill not-awful based on the fact that we haven't seen him play is no different than saying Yao is not injured based on the fact that he hasn't played any games this season.

The point is, Hill has been awful so far (even on camera in training camp). Yes, a lot of people have been giving him praises, but as it stands now there is no proof that he is anything better than awful.

I think it's best it remains that way until he actually proves himself not-awful. That goes for T-Will and Thabeet as well.

Neither are awful. Especially Hill. He has shown progress.

We'll see what happens when the season starts. Hill will probably be in the top 50 best centers in the NBA this year, for sure.

Sorry, but they're awful until proven otherwise.

You can practically say that for any player.

Odds are against them, they're in their third year of the NBA. How long is the "not enough playing time" excuse going to last for them?

I mean I'm sure there is a reason they're not getting enough playing time. Do we need to give them 20 minutes a game (instead of earning it) for an entire season before calling them failed projects?

I think we should sign Dalembert as our starter and let Thabeet his backup but still play almost as much. Like som have already mentioned, why not see what he can do out there

It's kind of sad that this is no longer a radical idea.

I suppose we stand to lose nothing (but basketball games) if we start him.

Thabeet will start if he deserves it. If he beat out every other big man in camp, then he'll start. If he can't beat out Jordan Hill or whoever else we have, starting him will destroy team chemistry. McHale will never have any respect from the Rockets players if he starts someone who's clearly inferior choice.

Both would be phenomenal in a YMCA pick up game.

This is the Thabeet I want to see, I think he needs a pyschiatrist to get him some confidence.

His body language reads like " I don't care" but that is really a sign of a sensitive person who cares too much....

Someone needs to get to him, build him up, and unleash ThaBeast !

There are no words to describe the apathy.
