Obviously a must, post-Nene, for Nets to win DH12 Sweepstakes. But I've always liked their chances of crafting right deal better than Lakers

Became very real tonight that Lakers could focus on CP3 over Dwight and aim for CP3/Kobe/Bynum core thru Pau-centric offer to NBA's Hornets

^This. And I'm about ready to kidnap a marmat of some kind and drive a truck off of a cliff.

But hey, do you think if we go through this a few hundred more times that will finally be able to find true love (a.k.a. : Chuck Hayes).

It's hard to envision ANY laker trade without a 3rd team facilitator being better than what the Clippers offered. Of course, the Clippers offer may not be there anymore... but a Pau centered offer to NO makes little sense for NO.

Clippers offer died once they picked Billups off waiver wire.

While Billups may not be CP3, he's the leader that they sorely lacked.

Maybe, but the tweets also noted that the Clips kept trading offers, just much more reluctantly, into Tuesday night. So I don't think the Clippers offer is completely dead.

I mean the New Orleans should get younger and draft picks. The league may have screwed itself, but if the Clippers are willing to give up the Minny pick, and the rest of the package excepting Gordon - which the league was too greedy to ask for anyways, then the Hornets should do it over a Pau centered package. And the Clippers should still do it.

Adrian Woj and David Aldridge are reporting talks are dead and Clippers have no interest in negotiation anymore.

Only people that are reporting talks going on are Broussard and Stein.

The Lakers traded Odom for nothing but a tax break so there's a piece that is gone. And I don't think a very late 1st round pick from the Mavs is going to warm their socks. If Odom and Pau were not enough last time, Pau and who? is good enough this time? And since they are talking of a CP3/Kobe/Bynum core, Bynum is off the table. This is just media trash (glorified blog) IMO.

does this mean we are involved again...now we must be more desperate for Pau then ever...all other options closed..

Trade for Pau and sign Dalembert to 1 year deal?
