    I would rather add couple of low cost prospective young centers instead of signing Samuel. Samuel isn't a bad player, but we need sign players that will eventually add "value" to the franchise in order trade for an all star player as a mediocre team.

    We don't have a choice. I think for Thabeet to become a good NBA player, nothing would be better for him than playing starters minutes. I will even predict that if he were to start for us, at some point in the season he will be leading the league in blocked shots. One more thing, look at the lineup closely..

    Martin
    T-Will(hopefully)
    Scola
    Thabeet
    Three of them are from our starters from the past two seasons or so. These are going to be the coaches on the floor with him. Helping him get through the first 8 games or so. Once he gets confident and settled in the rotation, he will begin to exceed our expectations(which for most of you is not much).
