    I was all for the Pau/Nene deal not so much Sammy D. I would rather just go with our current line up; Dalembert isnt going to help us much anyway.

    I don't think rockets are interested in Sammy anymore after the veto. He is old and expensive. By adding Sammy alone, we couldn't go deep in playoff, but would get worse draft pick.

    Dalembert is a good defender and post presence, EXACTLY what the Rockets need...to be the 8th seed. He isn't a stiff but his signing brings up a whole different question for another thread.

    Wow ! so many pessimistic pepople on this board. If you all don't like the team, then jump off the train and go bandwagon another team. I for one will support the team and it's players no matter who is on it and will always go into a new season with high expectations.
    Sammy Please sign with the Rockets, we need a strong defensive post player. I believe you are better than Nene. I have always liked your game, and would welcome you to Rockets with open arms.

    Its not so much pessimism as it is looking at bigger picture. Any team's ultimate goal isn't to win a few more games but win a title and the Rockets front office has to think really hard if signing Sammy is going to help or hurt winning that title eventually.

    I think one of, if not both of those guys are moved by the deadline to a team who thinks they put them over the top. Wait, is there a trade deadline this year? Or an all star game?
