    I hope T will. Dude has so much physical talent going for him and a nice skill set. But also a lot of ifs... As in if he develops a mid range game, if he learns to play within a system, if he improves his professionalism far beyond what has been reported about him.

    It would be nice if his troubles can mostly be explained by "hey, it was the Nets" and "he got caught in whatever was going down between Morey and Adleman." But reality is that NBA benches are lined with lotto picks who coulda been -- guys stunted by mental and personality issues.

    I am pulling for him and Thabeet, though. If those guys realize much of their potential, it would make a great sports story and an even better story with them as Rockets.

    Here's to the new season...

    Can't really tell unless I know what's wrong with TWill right now. If he lacks the BBIQ, then no amount of "potential" can save him from a short, crappy NBA career. If he only lacks discipline, then there's hope for him yet. Unfortunately, I think it's the former and not the latter at this point. :(
