He also killed a top ranked team in college single-handedly. He killed John Wall. He killed the Summer League.
ur not?? then GTFO?? seriously I hope you're not a black or white guy in a Jeremy Lin thread... I mean how good could an Asian American baller be? I haven't even ever seen him play and I know that much. he no good. he's obviously only here to capture that lucrative .001% of the market that Asian American basketball fans in Houston, Texas comprise. not a basketball decision. the guy is Chinese ffs. amirite. isyouwitme? [non-Asian Internet HIGH FIVE here]
Has anyone posted Hollinger's scouting report on Lin? Not bad. http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/player/hollinger/_/id/4299/jeremy-lin SEASON FG% FT% P/40 R/40 A/40 TS% AST TO USG REB PER '10-'11 .389 .760 10.7 4.8 5.9 45.8 29.4 12.6 15.7 6.8 14.79 + Big, aggressive point guard who rebounds well for size and draws fouls. + Good size but slow feet defensively. Great nose for ball and good hands. + Drives to score; must upgrade distribution skills and decision-making. Lin played bits and pieces of 28 games, and posted a very respectable performance, shooting poorly but making up for it with lots of free throws, a decent assist-to-turnover ratio and a shockingly high steals rate. This is not a typo -- Lin had 33 steals in 285 minutes, which translates to 4.6 per 40 minutes. He also blocked nine shots, which most point guards don't do in a full season. (Quick example: Devin Harris is the same size, played 2,254 minutes and had seven.) In 20 D-League games, Lin showed similar skills. While his steal rate wasn't quite as phenomenal, he did average one every 15 minutes, and he showed the same strong ability to rebound the ball and get to the free throw line. However, scouts consider him erratic at the point, and you could see why in D-League -- his turnover rate was entirely too high and his distribution skills were wanting. Despite his weaknesses, Lin's overall résumé makes him a strong candidate to take over a full-time backup point guard job this season ? whether in this market or another one.
I meant it just the way others post "Hispanic?" Or "Caucasian?" Basing it on a members post. Calm down brahs...
Relentless, I knew exactly what you meant from seeing those jokes in the hangout. I wasn't offended and I am asian. Some folks are way too serious here.
It's fine if you were making a joke, I'm not aware of that because I don't visit the hangout. I just think you should at least distinguish between a Chinese person and a Taiwanese. They're not the same, just like how a German and and American aren't the same.
