Played Beta, was great. If you are a WoW fan you will likely enjoy it, if you are a Bioware Kotor fan you will enjoy it as well. It's very much a mixture of the two but companions, Star Wars universe, and improved storyline makes it better than WoW for me. Pre-ordered in November though, I hope they speed up the Early Access process.
I'm not really a big MMORPG gamer but the graphics are horrible, just like any other Bioware game. That company's overrated.
KOTOR 2 was one of my favorite games of all time, however, with the PC and MMORPG thing, im thinking they wont put as much work into the story mode... and is it true u have to pay monthly?
No. They are giving out early access by order of pre orders, those who did so first are already in. If you pre-order today you may get 3-4 days early access I'm guessing.
Playing the beta, the story mode is up to Bioware's par. The big difference here is that there are 8 different stories (Although if you say pick a Jedi Knight then play Jedi Consular, all the side quests and other quest are the same. Just the Class quest are unique to each class) but the story mode is not like any other MMO. It's fully voiced over and you still get the morality wheel that is in nearly all of their games. Yes, you do have to pay monthly.

I think I'd love the game. I wish I had time. I barely have time to play as much Skyrim, and with all that's going on in my life, I just don't have the time right now to play an MMORPG. That's sad because it's almost always most fun when the game is first starting and really discovering new things and content with other people who are in a similar situation. Later it seems like everybody already knows everything, and the since of discovery is lost. Even still I might join up closer to next summer if I can clear some time.
