Another good young asset. He'll probably go somewhere with more guaranteed PT. Probably Raps. And yes they rescinded to make room for Kwame.

His numbers as a starter last year were good. His averages for 6 games were something like 36 minutes, 17 points, 42% 3ptrs, good rebounds and few turnovers. Trade Martin for someone (Asik? Who?) and then add Reggie.
I'd be okay with it. Just gotta wonder where we're going to put all of these guys if someone isn't getting moved.
This guy put in 15ppg on 50% shooting (in 32 mins of action) in his ROOKIE season. He's only 25. He's a must have for the SG/SF spot.
OH NO!!!! The Rockets are looking at a player who isn't Chris Paul/Dwight Howard!!! Come on people... all it said is that the Rockets were interested. Reggie Williams is a quick-improving young talent, and the Rockets would be dumb not to at least kick the tires. The Rockets are not the Timberwolves.... we're not going to sign 13 SFs at the detriment of the rest of our roster. But if he can be had at a great value, why wouldn't you want him?
Ah i though Kmart was 6-5 but he has about 30 pounds on him . And I would imagine he'd be playing Sg and we are shipping either Martin or Lee out, if we even get him.
He's a good player that can fit in a rotation at the 2/3 for 20+ mpg. Good shooter, good athlete (kind of like Courtney Lee in that respect). We currently have Martin, Lee, Budinger, Williams, and Morris all look for PT at those positions. I could see this move making a lot of sense if we moved Martin for a big. I don't see it on the current roster. If Martin gets 32 mpg, Budinger and Lee get 20 mpg apiece (and they could both easily push towards 25-30), that leaves 24 mpg for T. Williams, Morris, and any other wings (Parsons?). Not a great situation for Williams, nor one where he really fits for the Rockets.
The one stat that jumps out is that he's a (short) career 40% 3point shooter. And he's shot enough so that the stat is fairly reliable. I think Morey wants him mostly in case he lines up a deal for KMart or Lee. Not sure why he'd sign here unless we give him a lot of money though. Funny thing is, if you look at some opponent stats or on/off court stats, CBud comes out to be an above average defender.
this is true. And you can't chalk that up to him having a dominant presence in the paint behind him bailing his ass out. These dont mean everything, but chase did honestly improve his d last year. That being said, I don't have a problem with Reggie Williams. Just dont see where he gets the play time.
I'd be happy to have him, but I think you have to question why he played over 30mpg as a rookie vs. 20mpg as a sophmore, to now being let go by a team that lost 46 games a year ago. Important to remember that every guard that can shoot has put up numbers for Golden State.
I looked at about half of the first video posted and determined clearly that this guy is better then Bud. Do we need him? NO, but is he an upgrade at the position? YES, no doubt. If we are looking at him, this means a couple of things to me. 1. We are going to keep the centers we have and they have shown enough at camp to prove worth while, and maybe we bring in Samuel D as well. 2. One of our wings and on of our centers is on their way out in a trade. Possibly sign and trade. Reggie and Biedrins, for Bud and Hill + draft pick Would I be mad with this type of transaction? No not at all.. the guy can clearly play.
