    Per Adrian Wojo

And for all the hell he takes as a #1 Pick bust....his career arc has ended up looking a lot like Joe Smith's. He's not awful as a 4/5 that can give you a steady 7-7.

And the Warriors have been surprisingly aggressive. Wonders of new ownership.

This is actually the kind of move the Rockets should have looked at long and hard.

Maintains maximum salary cap flexibility for 2012.

good move for kwame, he's one the best interior defenders in the league right now and its not like they need him for offense. They score alot, but give up even more than they score.

Yeah I echo the statement. Kwame was very, very good last year with the Bobcats.

His PER36's were off the charts. Great defense and 10-11 boards...

1yr/7mil...not bad, but rockets would have only made this if we are trying to win now...we are kind of stuck in the middle..the hornets disaster has completely thrown everything off track

what do we need the most form a Center?

Rebounds, Rebound, Rebounds. Blocked shots are a plus but as long as we get rebounds I think a center on a 1 year deal would be great.

Being tall is worth a lot of money.

I wouldn't have paid him that kind of money.

If 10-11 rebounds are off your charts, you need bigger charts.

Now I wonder what kind of offer the Rockets are discussing with Sammy D.

I'm not sure flexibility for 2012 matters unless a lot of things shake out. As it currently stands, I believe Boston and Clippers both can easily create 2-max slots for Howard and DWill/CP3. NJ should have it too. And probably other teams through manuverings. Even assuming neither player signs extensions during the season, our chances don't look too favorable.

That said, without Nene and Gasol, I doubt Morey signs anyone for big multi-year deal. More due to lack of FAs worthy of the money than anything else.

They were pushing for the minimum team's salary, that's all.

He is just a lucky guy

The Warriors decided to use their amnesty on Charlie Bell instead.

Andris Biedrins will never be amnestied.

1 year 7 Million!? Are you kidding me. This guy literally is a negative on offense, can't catch or finish. Defense he holds his own. Think about this, Darko signed for 4-5 million and everyone made fun of it. Darko has one of the best block rates, holds his own very well in the paint, and has an offensive touch as well(albeit inconsistent)

Not gonna lie, this is actually a great signing. He's one of the best post defenders in the league.

I read somewhere he allows 48% shooting in the post, which is like 202nd in points/possession allowed.

Very respectable numbers. I'd rather pay this guy 7 million than Thabust or Jordan 5 million or 10 million a year respectively.
