Yeah, I think there is something in the "terms and conditions" of us being fans. I think the lockout broke that agreement. The NBA can go f!ck themselves for only offering a $10 discount. So, I am definitely buying through Romania if I can find a way to do it without any latency during games.

If we can ensure there are no speed issues, everyone in the US should do it too.

i'm sure the playoffs were separate last season, its 250 for the season downunder and 190 for a single team, considering i'm away a month, not sure i can justify it right now, maybe when i get back i'll get it by the month

the quality on the international feed was great last year

both sides were numbnuts in the lockout and completely ambivalent towards the fans, not buying league pass may be my only chance to do something, i'm actually surprised they aren't offering some sort of serious discount to win people back over, but maybe they will come back anyway

True, my bad. I didn't see that this year's package includes the playoffs.
Last year I paid 150 for all games in the regular season, but the playoffs was extra.

Although, this year it seems there is no option to purchase just the regular season, so the cheapest package available is 170 for the team package.

So its not as much of a rip-off as I originally thought, but still I was expecting much better in a lockout season. I was hoping to get a regular season houston rockets package for under 100. But no luck.

It's your call. I'm just saying that if at all possible, I try not to f!ck with big american corporations like the NBA, because they will usually kick my ass.

So, anyone know if the Xmas quadruple header will be blacked out? When they say "black out" can occur, what is an example of a reason if there is no way we can interfere with local TV broadcasting rights.

You have until January 9, 2012 to use it, btw. But to make it worthwhile, I suppose you definitely want to buy all the game, not wait.

not really. While I agree we should be getting a big discount due to lockout, for non lockout pricing this is comparable to US pricing, and better. Playoffs and the Finals is what it is all about, and the US League Pass does not offer any playoffs. NBA TV turns off after the regular season.

This is how much it would cost in the US if they offered playoffs and all teams. We can watch every second of every post season game. You can't do that in the states unless you have multiple DVRs and TVs, like Bill Simmons. Actually, are all 1st round games even available in each US city?

Plus, there really is no other way to watch the playoffs here.

Well put it on your Christmas list and you'll have it before the season starts.....if you've been nice all year.

Depends when you buy and how many teams. I think the options were promoted as 7 players or 7 teams...and All Teams as a premium.

I got the early bird price for 7 players at around $100. So $179 sounds about right for all teams at full rate.

I didn't know the playoffs are included...

I would say then, it's a decent deal

Yep, $170 for the team pass and $220 for the league pass in the U.K. as well. That's annoying...

Same for Japan as well. Sigh.

To get the Team Pass or the League Pass... Last year, I barely had time to catch the Rockets game with League Pass, so the natural choice is to go with a Rockets team pass.

The $170 also comes with all playoffs and finals, even if the Rockets don't make the playoffs, right?

I'm really thinking about skipping LPBB this year. If the 7-team pricing package isn't reasonable, forget it.

7 teams is plenty for me. $100 is more than reasonable, especially if it includes playoffs/finals.
