lifelong rockets fan. just so strange not having a superstar on this roster. even when yao and/or tmac was out, we always had some hope for when either one would 1 day be healthy. trying not to get bummed out too much about it. :(

all these spoiled players choosing to join their city and team of their choice is sickening. i'll still be supporting my team. go rox.

It is kind of weird not having a superstar player, even if he's in a suit and walking with one leg. But if this ends up being our team, I think they'll be fun to watch. I just don't think they'll make it past the first round, and that's assuming that they squeeze into the playoffs, which will not be easy. Of course, I'm basing "fun to watch" on last year's team, which had a different coach. A completely different coach, who's offense was a gas to watch.

It's been strange to see the NBA act so unprofessional.

It's like a bad movie. Or pro wrestling.

No superstar per se but a bunch of very well rounded borderline stars

    Indeed, no superstars.

Is it the city or Morey?

i hope so man. seriously, it would be nice to get a player in the paint again that can dominate. it's been houston's brand of basketball forever.

Let's be realists, Pau, Nene, Marc Gasol, even Dwight would not automatically propel us to a championship. So in a shortened season, what's the point of trying to gut a roster for a player in a shortened season? I would like Morey to get Dalembert, Fesenko, maybe Asik via trade and just see how the young guys play and go through another draft and evaluate.

lowry's on the brink of stardom

all of the young talent on the rox are going to get a chance to develop this season

pat pat, jhill, bud, twill, hasheem... these guys are all going to have a great chance to develop and get lots of playing time with no superstars

lets make the best of a bad situation!

Like the enthusiasm, but at this point everyone in the league knows exactly
who Rockets are. A collection of solid players, no All-Stars. KMart will be
in his 8th season, Scola is getting on in years. Maybe KMart can make the
all-star team this year but it's no lock. We need a elite level player or it
will be solid fight for the 8th seed again. Looking forward to watching PP
and Morris develop, wish there was more to be excited about.
