Hoping Sam Houston loses next week. They would basically have the home field advantage in the title game, and they would be playing my alma mater if both schools advance.

SHSU has a different thing coming next week. I am a University of Montana fan (I grew up in Montana before moving to TX) and the Griz are a very hot team as of late. Their sophmore quaterback is really coming into his own. The Griz have Nate Montana (son of Joe) as a backup quarterback. He has played some and also got in trouble with the law (DUI I think)

That being said tough game for Montana, but I will say Montana 37 SHSU 21

Neg repped for being a dumbass.

Bring on Montana. I don't think they can handle our team speed. Time for some revenge.

The good thing (for Sam) was that they dropped that ass kicking on Montana State without Flanders going off.

1st time to watch Sam Houston play this season. Incredible defense. I guess that makes sense when both your DE's are transfers from Big XII (Oklahoma and A&M). Good team speed on defense, I like the press/bump-and-run coverage and heavy blitzing.

If they face a quarterback that can throw to man-to-man receivers (Montana State's QB was awful), then maybe SHSU could have a little trouble.

Overall, I was surprisingly impressed, and convinced me to go to the game again on Friday.
