20 and 5 doesn't impress me. Hello Aaron Brooks.

Give me a player with substance.

Wes Johnson is not an average athlete in the NBA...

Dont know if anybody noticed but A.Randolph averaged 15 and 5 in only 24 mins in the last month of the season... i would make him essential to any deal we do with them.

This is a very good point and one I hadn't considered.

Maybe I'm missing something but in the 5-10 games I've seen Wes Johnson play (Not Including College) I have not seen anything that makes me think he can be anything other than a decent player//slightly above average. Not a borderline All-Star like K-Mart. All things considered, he had a pretty disappointing rookie year and he is already 24. Not a bust by any means but not exactly a prime asset.

Someone sell him to me por favor.

Things I do not want to hear:

Where he was taken in the draft: (We have plenty of Lotto superstars with Flynn, T-Will, Thabeat, JHill)

He's a great intangibles guy (Shane Battier Jr. Would be super.. if we had some talent around him.)

For all you M. Beasley lovers out there... Dear God... No. Guy is insanely immature. Get's arrested with the dank every few months it seems. Classic guy doomed to float around the bottom of the league putting up numbers. Has no position on the floor. Just ugh.. No. If you think he is a piece on a winning basketball team.. you are wrong. + Him and T-Will together? Bad news bears.

I'm not even joking when I say that Anthony Randolph has always put up legitimate MVP stats when he gets playing time. That said, he needs to play the PF position. That is his spot...

Too bad we already have our PF of the future in Patterson.

Randolph, can he play the 3?

I see him as a poor man's Lamar Odom.

For those that want to trade Martin... remember that it is much more costly to acquire an upgrade. Usually the team with the best player wins in most trades, regardless of the number of lesser parts coming in return.

I think that is exactly what will keep Morey away from the Wolves, unless he can get Derrick Williams (Unlikely). The Wolves don't really have any decent picks either I don't think.

    It isn't Morey's style.

That is exactly what he is. He can be a carbon copy of Lamar... With added shot blocking.

Morey has expressed interest in Randolph in the past, so you can almost guarantee a trade involving him now that Adelman is there. Randolph is also the opposite of what you'd call an "Adelman type player", so I really do see a deal happening. Although it wouldn't be for Martin though if it was Randolph alone. More along the lines of another former Adelman pet like Budinger.

If they really want Martin then the only player I see us having interest in is Derrick Williams. Wolves are in win now mode without their 1st round pick next year and with their win now coach. Martin/Scola/Budinger for Derrick Williams/Randolph + whatever to make the salaries work, I can see both sides having some interest in. Kahn may be hesitant, but you can bet it would raise some eyebrows with Adelman.

Maybe because he excels in the read & react offense given his skillset. McHale may realize that he won't be as effective in a different system.

He's got the tools to be a great defender and his size is why he was drafted so high. I like him and to be honest Martin here making $10million dollars seems redundant.

Time to move on and salary dump him.

There is no way that Minnesota would even consider trading Derrick Williams for Martin.

You don't just need cap space for free agents. You need it for your players too. I'd rather have the flexibility just in case. Thats how Minnieota got Beasley from Miami. He was just a salary dump and the Wolves gave nothing.

I actually think that for the right package they could trade him.

Martin+Scola seems a bit much though IMO.

Who cares though? rebuilding is rebuilding were not in need of scola martin, or there contracts. Williams an randolph would be good enough, to make the team bad enough, to start rebuilding...lol

When was the last time a top 2 pick was traded from a lotto team trying to "win now".

I just don't see them trading Williams unless a superstar like CP3 or Howard is involved.

I honestly don't even like Williams that much, although admittedly I haven't seem enough of him. But as far as value goes he has a ton. In fact the only reason why I think the Wolves would be at all interested is because of Adelman. Remember he scoffed at trading our vets for Rubio when he was here. Personally I would flip Williams right away if we can get him and stick with Morris instead. Hey, maybe even for Pau Gasol lol.
