    Given that Gasol's "max" starts at 12 mil, how could Memphis NOT match? At the very least, Memphis can get a boatload of assets just by sign and trading him. If Gasol was a true FA he'd be getting Nene money right now from someone.

    The Rockets don't have the money to compete with NJ on Nene. Since Dwight Howard would be a trade, they can max out their salary with Nene first before trading for Dwight. So that's not an issue.

    Dalembert! Here we come! I think I'm going to cry in the corner. :(

    If we get Gasol in a Sign & Trade deal, is it possible to get both M. Gasol AND Nene? I guess it depends what moves in the trade.

    Nets have obviously been pushing hard to complete trade for Dwight, but if DH12 winds up with Lakers instead then NJN surely turn to Brazil

    To be honest i think dwight might wanna go to "LAKERS" of course...L.A...kobe...that being said we end up with nothing unless morey hurry up and make them back out and etc.

    The Grizzlies are expected to match the four-year, $55 million offer sheet that Marc Gasol has agreed to with the Rockets.

    Gasol is a restricted free agent and Memphis would have three days to match.

    Max offer sheet is around 12M, if I remember correctly. I consider him the best center available this year, even better than Nene considering he's several years younger.

    Anyway if we can get him in a SnT I wouldn't mind trading anyone on the team. This kid can ball.
