Not yes, but hell yes... and while you're at it, push TJ to the limit. Let's see what the kid can do!
I think that will happen regardless of choice -...hearing Andre talk about he is going to be ready 100% for the post-season makes me think that is the plan
I'd rather not have his first game back be the playoff game... but if its not fully healthy till then, so be it
It's what I expected last week. He would be pressing to come back for Carolina, and that would only happen if both we and the Saints were blown out today...and he healed ahead of schedule. And the only other way I saw him returning was if we went into NYD tied with the Titans. With a home game clinched, they're going to give him all the extra time they can, just like they did with the other leg.
hell no we can get home field advantage, and AJ would help us do it. especially need him versus the fightin' Bud Adams's
I'd like to see him and Yates get some more play-time together, but not if it means bringing him back too early. I think the next three games should be wins even without him.
I think so. It doesn't seem as though we'll need him for the rest of the competition left on our schedule even if we're trying to get a first round bye (which would help AJ even more with another week of rest).
We also need him to get his legs under him. He hasn't played much at all this season. I agree with the week 15 idea.
We can win the next two games without him...let him get as close to 100% healthy as possible. Bring him back week 17 to get his rhythm back and guarantee a victory against the Titans.
rest. we saw what he can do with yates with one week of practice last week. dre can make any day a dre day.
Yea, but that was in his second week back. He didn't go all out during the Jacksonville game, and despite what he or anybody else may say, it does take a half or full game to get back to a comfort level before one can start dominating again. After he passed the health test for the Jacksonville game, he was much more explosive looking on his routes for Atlanta... I expect something similiar this time around as well, and I don't want the playoff game to be his "test" game if at all possible.
I would like to see him get at least some playing time before the playoffs, but at the same time I can't help but think of how devastating it would be to watch him get injured again and not be able to go at all in the postseason.
