Do you think signing Marc Gasol to 4-years, $55M is a good deal for the Rockets?

You better warn Nene's sister in law that him going to NJ could possibly be a trap.

He may be used in a trade for Dwight.

55,000,000 / 4 Years = 13,750,000 a year, is my math right or wrong on this one? That folks is a little over the 11-11.5 million that Martin makes, if I'm not mistaken so we include a trade exception or they could include OJ Mayo and we include someone else?

I don't mind Marc Gasol at this rate, I thought max was MAX like TMAC/Kobe, but we still have cap space to manage and he is only 26 (not to mention he competes on both ends of the floor). No way they would agree to take back Thabeet in this trade, would be on the sames terms of J.Jefferies and him going back to the NY Knicks.

Pretty sure they're going to try to match it but I'll definitely be checking back the next 3 days to see what happens

I'm wondering if they have the cap room to match... does anyone have the stats on what Memphis currently has on the table?

They already gave Rudy Gay and Zach Randolph a bunch of moolah

↓↓↓↓ GMTA... anyone have the scoop on the numbers??

Listen I'm negotiating a sign and trade that's different than them matching. A max offer. Evan if they match the max offer they will be so far over the cap that they will have to have a fire sale for all of there young talent.gasol,gay,randolph. At max money will destroy there small market and they know that. I'm playin chess and there playin checkers

So this means that Thabeet was amnestied, right?

You can't trade a player for 3 months after signing him to a free agent contract.

If the Grizz match, there's still a possibility that the Rockets could convince them to trade Gasol to us?

No idea, but the rumored report is that the Rockets are pursuing a sign-and-trade for him.

What is Gasol signs the Rockets offer sheet but refuses to sign the Grizzlies?
