Rockets pursuing Marc Gasol

This is what people tend to ignore. This supporting cast was meant for Yao and TMac but through no fault of Morey's they both flamed out well before they should have. The Rockets are left with some very good players but no true superstars. Plus Morey has said multiple times that he has been tasked with rebuilding the Rockets without tanking and while maintaining a competitive team. He has done that.

The Rockets are likely a play-off team right now even with out making a trade for a superstar type of player.

I just checked out a grizzlies forum. Most ppl did not seem worried one bit that Memphis would definitely match offer IF Gasol even signed the offer sent by us.

Most likely, he will NOT sign our offer and try to get more money out of Memphis

I could care less about his religion. The image projects what he has been like the last few days in his dealings with the Rockets. If Ms. Stern doesn't like comparisons like that, he should change his behavior.

 

What's he supposed to do? Doesn't involve us at all.

The Rocekts were a playoff team last season, but there just weren't enough slots. They finished 6th in the east.

 

If the Rockets offer him a better chance to play, have a bigger role on the team and realize his potential, why not?

 

Comparing David Stern to Hitler is like comparing Snooki to Einstein. Apples and oranges, and offensive. But good photoshop skills, yo!

 

He's a good player, but ummm....max deal? LOL WTF?

 

I like him better than Nene and the guy is practically a younger Tyson Chandler, imo.
