    Be surprised if Memphis didn't match Rockets offer sheet to Marc Gasol. Grizz have put word out they intend to match pretty much anything

    The best leverage we have would be for Marc Gasol to threaten to go the Eddy Curry route and eat his ass out of the league if Grizz match.

    So has he signed the offer sheet yet? I am confused. Thabeet is not waived yet. But all signs are pointing to Marc wants to leave Memphis IMO. Morey is a smart guy; he must have a plan in the work......

    I doubt it, it would be a giant blow to their roster and future to lose out on a young center esp to the Rockets. What's their financial situation like?

    They will match the offer no doubt. How would they look if they didn't when they said they would all along. If he can't get him in a SnT then we are back to square 1...

    I wouldn't get my hopes up over this. If Memphis let Gasol walk, it would crush what little bit of fan support they've been able to revive.

    If Thabeet is forced to start, he will become a respectable center then. Of course he will have some troubles at first, but, with 66 games( or less ), he will eventually catch on and start to play up to starting standards.
