Every right to brag about beating Rice. To be fair, tou can't give him crap though for what he just said. Rice played 4 BCS schools non conference. UH played 1 BCS team, 1 WAC, 1 Sunbelt and 1 Division 2 school. That is obviously a difference in philosophy.
Yes, the difference being Rice gladly bends over to get buttf***ed for a payout (the only way they can stay above the D1 attendance minimum and/or keep their program from completely bleeding money), meanwhile, no BCS teams are willing to schedule home-and-home games with UH.
Texas...won't play UH Baylor...won't play UH Northwestern...why? Purdue...why? So the only two games that make sense for UH can't be scheduled...
Why would UH have to schedule the exact same teams? And NO TEAM in the Big 10, Big 12, ACC, Big East or Pac 12 will schedule a home and home? That doesn't explain scheduling a division 2 school. Look there are good aspects of the program and bad. You have to grant they don't schedule as good non conference games as rice. It's too bad UCLA sucked this year. I'm not bashing the program. I was just pointing out that bigtexx had a point.
lmao repped. There might be a grand total of 4 coog fans in Dallas for this game. Total economic impact from Coog fans: $12. ($30 for 10 7-Eleven hot dogs, -$18 for stolen Mad Dog 20/20s)
