Why would you trade Lowry for a pick? He's a young player who's the vocal leader of this team, coming off a career best season as a starter, who's locked up to a very reasonable contract. Weird.

He might net you a high pick and has performed pretty well for one year as a starter, so he might be able to get a great pick from someone.

Seriously: The season is supposed to start in 14 days. League just isn't ready. Too much, too fast, too much insanity.

Mavs and Lakers trading = confident organizations. The No. 1 concern is helping your own team. What it does for another is secondary.

Because DD is still but hurt that Lowry took his boys spot as starting PG.

CP3 trade is back on if the odom to mavs deal happen, this was a way of LA taking more salary on the deal.

Most likely Scola goes to LA, Ariza goes to LA. and N.O takes on less salary and maybe more picks.

Nah, I don't hold onto long term grudges, I want what is best for the future of the Rox....tanking and getting picks is what I think is best.

Lowry is too much of a competitor to let that happen so is Luis.....got to get rid of those two ...they would keep us competitive.....

Or keep them...fine by me too...whatever......

To whom? These will be lottery protected, no free agents will want to come to a gutted team and there is no assurance that the Rockets would be any better off than shifting for established players. What superstar is in this draft exactly? Michael Beasley is just as likely as Kevin Durant.

Clippers will be powwowing tomorrow to discuss next move. I can't believe they will maintain absolute non-Gordon stance if CP3 is in play.

Yeah but DD is completely right. 100000000%. You may not like it but he is. He was right. Is right and going to be right as long as you keep depending on Morey to trade for Superstars instead of drafting them. The reason is Morey cant do trades for Superstars. There are none he can trade for in the foreseeable future.

True, true, so you have to get as many future picks as you can to get better odds.
